Youth Leaders

Bella Flad is the newest college intern at UNA Pasadena and a senior at Occidental College majoring in Urban and Environmental Policy. Born and raised in Pasadena, Bella started volunteering in PUSD schools and summer programs at a young age, most passionate about how socioeconomic and racial inequity harms students. 

At Occidental College, she’s a member of the Glee Club and Vice President of the Delta Omicron Tau Sorority. For her thesis project at Occidental, she’s researching the exploitation of warehouse workers and disadvantaged communities in the Inland Empire but remains passionate about sustainable development and environmental justice.
