Join us for the 3rd annual Earth Day Altadena on April 19, 2026 (3–7PM) at Solvang Garden, 280 Crosby Street, located in the heart of West Altadena.
Under the theme “Making Change Where We Stand,” this free (donations encouraged), family-friendly community event celebrates Dena communities’ enduring spirit through music, art, and land-based healing. It’s a living act of resilience—transforming grief into growth, and isolation into connection. Opening the day with Land Healing and indigenous dancers Danzantes de la Vida + Yancy Comins will be a speaker from Hands in the Soil.
Powerful musical performances by fire-impacted supporting artists include: Mayeya, a dynamic ensemble led by Peruvian percussionist Diana Andrea Soto Teixeira, weaving Afro-Cuban Orisha rhythms and ancestral wisdom; and the Earthseed Band, a genre-blending world music collective from Altadena and closing the event will be traditional Son Jarocho music by Cambalache.
This zero-waste event also offers vegan food, free plants from Altadena Wild, tree assessments from Altadena Green, produce from Altadena Farmers Market, Green Circle eco-vendors and community builders committed to sustainable, nature-rooted recovery, resilience and changemaking.
